How to participate

For Interested Delegation Leaders

If your country is interested to participate but did not receive an invitation letter, please contact . The registration will open at the beginning of December.

For European countries, there is no participation fee and all expenses are covered during the official program of the EGOI (including meals and accomodation).

If you would like to receive updates please subscribe to one or both of the following mailing lists:

• EGOI-updates: low traffic mailing list for important updates, e.g. registration opening
• EGOI-discuss: discussion mailing list to discuss possible future hosts, details about the competition etc.

For Swiss Participants

The Swiss Olympiad in Informatics (SOI) will select our delegation the same way we select for the International Olympiad in Informatics. Therefore you should participate in the first round of SOI (website) and qualify for the second round to be considered.

For Participants from European Countries

If you would like to participate at EGOI as a contestant, please contact your national organization organizing the selection for the International Olympiad in Informatics. Ask them whether they plan to participate. They can give you more information on how you can qualify to participate at EGOI.

The requirements for participants is the same as for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI Regulations, Section S2.5). Additionally, the participant has to be female.
